That's the front of the palette I got for Christmas. I thought I would review it.
That's what it looks like opened. It comes with a purple ribbon, you can use that to pull it up and put it on the other side of the palette. Like I did above.
These are just a few swatches of the colors on the top of the palette. I have at least one of every line of colors just so you can see the pigmentation.
These are a few of the bottom layer in the palette. The last swatch, the orange, is the same color. I'm not sure if you can tell from the picture, but the light shimmery color beside the bottom of the orange is what is on layered over that part of the orange. That shimmery color is probably one of my favorites in the whole palette. It's such a unique color, if you layer it over black it turns a golden color. It's got like yellow, orange, green, and gold duochrome in it. It's so pretty.
That's the back of the palette, I have the first addition as you can tell. My overall thoughts on this palette is that's it's great for the price. Most of the colors are really pigmented. It doesn't compare to my MAC shadows but this is only $29.95, where MAC is $14.50 for one shadow. A few of these are incredibly chalky. It's really easy to blend them together, but there is a lot of fallout. I would repurchase this, but just don't expect them to be the same quality as MAC. This is an amazing buy, you have every color you would ever need. I will be buying more from BH and I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a lot of colors, a beginner, or just someone wanting to expand their makeup collection.
That is the front of the palette again, it's very compact, however it doesn't feel very sturdy. I wouldn't reccomend this for traveling. I do reccomend it for anything else though.
